Error: “Authentication is required but no CredentialsProvider has been registered”

Version/Environment:

This applies to all versions of Domino.

Issue:

You run into this error when trying to create a workspace or run a scheduled job with an attached Git repository: 

Critical error in run 62794192991aff0c9fd362fc: org.eclipse.jgit.api.errors.TransportException: https://github.example.com/package-example.git: Authentication is required but no CredentialsProvider has been registered

Root Cause:

This error occurs when Git credentials are missing from your Domino account.

Resolution:

Add your Git credentials to Domino by going to your Account Settings >  Git Credentials > Add a New Credential
