replicator error when building model API - 500 Internal Server Error, Unknown error caused by: java.io.IOException: Unable to delete directory /domino/shared/replicatorStorage/cached/ <directory>

Issue:

User publishes a new model api version and gets the above error in the Model build logs.

Root Cause

This has occurred during upgrades between Domino versions, this error crops up when a git repository exists pre-upgrade, which caches a directory on the replicator pod and the new version of Model API being published with the same repository is configured slightly differently post-upgrade

Resolution

Quite simple, log on to the replicator pod and navigate to the directory in question '/domino/shared/replicatorStorage/cached/ <directory>'. You can then rename the directory or move it to another directory and republish the Model.

If this does not resolve the issue, then please get in touch with Domino support and ensure that you submit the Model logs by selecting the Model > Select the Version Tab > Select the Build and Instance logs of the model you're having trouble with.
