Opening a file from the workspace file browser does not open in a Domino framed window

Issue:

From Jupyter & JupyterLab workspace's file browser, the 'open file in new tab or window' does not open the file in a Domino Framed window.

For example, opening the file main.ipynb in a New Tab:

Results in the following window without a Domino frame or the ability to use Domino workbook features such as sync.

Root Cause:

This is expected behaviour. 

This is a browser feature.  Domino would have to change how Jupyterlab and other IDEs generate their links to avoid this.

Resolution:

Workarounds are to left click on the file to open it in the same tab, or duplicate your current tab and open the file in the newly duplicated tab or window.
