How to exclude attachments from the Domino run notification emails

Problem

When domino executes a run a notification email is sent to the user letting them know the status of the run and including results output and resulting files as attachments.  There can be some use cases where the email attachments of these resulting files can be unwanted.  There is no option in the Domino UI to exclude these results files from being attached.

Solution

In the Domino file browser of your project you will find a .dominoignore file.  Any files added to the .dominoignore file will not be sent as attachments in the notification email.

Root Cause

All files added to the /mnt path during your execution will be considered results and sent in the notification email.
