Version/Environment (if relevant):
This applies to all versions of Domino.
Issue:
You have an empty folder that you're trying to delete in a Domino project and it keeps reappearing the next time you spin up a workspace.
Root Cause:
This is due to a .dominokeep file that Domino places into empty directories for tracking purposes. The .dominokeep file prevents directory removal of empty directories.
Resolution:
To delete the folder permanently, add the folder's name to the .dominoignore file that can be found in the project's working directory by navigating to the File menu in the project. The .dominoignore file contains file patterns for Domino to ignore. After being added to .dominoignore, you should be able to permanently delete the folder.
Notes/Information:
If the empty folder continues to reapper, try the steps in Empty folder reappears even after adding folder name to .dominoignore file.
