Most of our users have work with Git Repo and add their Git credentials (see Git Repositories in Domino ) for work. They often have customized Git Servers from their company and share the same repository for projects.
One of the most common error the encounter is :
Workspace could not be started. Could not access Git Repository with URL (https://URL) : Please check the URL and your Git Credentials
This is usually seen when launching a workspace and they are about to save the changes to their repository.
What To Do:
1. Make sure you have access to the repository. Click on the URL and check if sends you to the repo or if you get a permission error .
- If you get an error reach out the owner of the repo and ask them to grant you access.
2. Add the correct Repo.
-A simple removal and adding back the repo will greatly help. There are times that we just copy a URL and paste it but accidentally adding a space or another character at the end of the URL. It pays to check the URL twice.
3. If all else fails, reach out to your Domino Support Team. Make sure you send a screenshot of the error and a copy of the Workspace Support Bundle( How to Get Workspace Logs ). This will help expedite trouble shooting .
