Why does my workspace keep getting shut down?

If you tend to leave workspaces open and notice they are getting shut down at regular intervals, you may want to check with your local admin. To reduce server costs, Domino has a setting that will automatically terminate any workspaces that run beyond a specified time limit. We recommend syncing and shutting down workspaces regularly but know that users have varying workflows, so it's best to check with your local admin about the limit. Please note this only applies to workspaces and not jobs. 

Admins can check this setting by going to central config and looking for com.cerebro.domino.workspaceAutoShutdown.globalMaximumLifetimeInSeconds.
