Anaconda's TOS have recently changed. Please see https://www.anaconda.com/blog/sustaining-our-stewardship-of-the-open-source-data-science-community.
Domino's stance on this is below.
Domino provides Anaconda's open source Python, R, and accompanying libraries as part of our Domino Analytics Distribution. This software has an open source license and as such we freely package and distribute it in our compute environment image for you to use. We do not download from Anaconda's repositories as part of a Domino installation or runtime.
If there is additional access to the Anaconda repo, it's not due to Domino itself accessing the repo. It's likely from other users in your organization accessing the repo or actively refreshing the libraries that are packaged in our Domino Analytics Distribution.
Please note that in order to comply with the new TOS Domino has begun disabling conda in our Domino Analytics Distribution (DAD) environments by default.
The installation of libraries and packages to customize Compute Environments is generally out of scope for Domino Support, but we can assist if you've hit a road block.
