Version/Environment (if relevant):
This applies to all versions of Domino.
Issue:
Although you have direct access to your repo in GitHub, you run into this error when trying to pull from or push to your repo from within a workspace:
ERROR: The repository owner has an IP allow list enabled, and <IP address> is not permitted to access this repository.
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
Please make sure you have the correct access rights and the repository exists.
If you remove the repo, you cannot add it back and you run into this error:
Cannot access Git repository with URI
Root Cause:
This error occurs when organizations restrict access to repos via an IP allow list as described in GitHub's: Managing allowed IP addresses for your organization
Resolution:
Reach out to your Domino Admins to ask if they're restricting IPs and enforcing an IP allow list on GitHub. Ask them to add Domino to the GitHub whitelist.
