The top popular projects are calculated based on how many jobs are getting executed, the number of tags, and the number of collaborators with specific weightings. In Domino's config (this config is not exposed to users), you can add weights to each value (tags, collaborators, job count).
For the suggested projects, Domino compiles the following projects:
- Projects your collaborators work on: Domino finds all of the collaborators that you work with - collaborators on your projects and projects you are a collaborator on. Using these collaborators, we find projects they work on and recommend them to you.
- Projects that fork projects you are the owner of or collaborator on.
- Projects with the same tags of projects that you are an owner of or collaborator on. If there are no related projects to your work, we fill in more popular projects, not in the popular projects tabs. The suggested projects get shuffled (i.e., there is no order)
